Our Lady of the Rosary

Jonah 4:1-11, Ps 86, Luke 11:1-4

Teach us to pray.

The mysteries of the rosary are based on the life of Christ. With Mary’s help they lead us to contemplate Jesus. As you pray a decade of the rosary, let Mary help you focus on her son Jesus. May she teach you to pray just as she taught Jesus to pray.

We pray - Mary our mother, you welcomed the word of life, help us to say our ‘yes’ to proclaim the Good News of Jesus. Filled with Christ’s presence, you sang of the great things done by God.

You joined the disciples in awaiting the Spirit so that the evangelising Church might be born.

Mother of the Gospel, wellspring of happiness for God’s little ones, pray for us.
