Colossians 1:9-14; Ps.98; Luke 5:1-11

Put out into the deep.

Simon and his fishing mates have had no luck all night. Their job brings no success. Talk with Jesus about any part of your life which seems fruitless or without meaning at present. Imagine being with Simon and hearing Jesus offer another option that involves some risk. The other side has potential. Welcome Jesus words “put out into the deep and don’t be afraid.”
