Am I ready?

If Jesus were to stand before me right now and said “Come along, it’s your turn now,” what do I think he’d see in me? And what would I think when I saw him? Would I see someone I loved and had come to know well - through prayerful conversation, worship, companionship, great joy and huge sorrow? I hope so.

Holy Spirit, give us all wisdom, so we love God as he deserves to be loved for the rest of our days.
