Take courage – have no fear

When Jesus walked out to meet the disciples in the middle of a storm at sea, he was showing them how, even when they were in serious danger of drowning, he was there for them. He also offers this support to us. All we need to do is to trust him – and if we feel as if we are sinking, we must do as Peter did and hold fast to Christ’s hand.

Dear Lord, I have faith in your love and care for me and for others. Remind us, Lord, to turn to you, especially when we are afraid or in trouble.
