Bread of Life
There are probably numerous sorts of hunger. We eat meals at various times of the day to satisfy our physical craving for food. There is also spiritual hunger, and because he was fully human, Jesus realised the depths we plumb when we experience spiritual want. It is in response to this and in his mercy for us that Our Lord provides for us with his offer of himself as the Bread of Life.
Dear Lord, please help me find ways to encourage others to come to your table and eat the bread of life so we may become one with you forever.
