Sts Peter and Paul

Acts 12:1-11, Ps 34, 2Timothy 4:6-8,17-18, Matthew 16:13-19

The successor of Peter today, Pope Francis, is telling us to go out like Paul into the world. However we can we should make Christ more known and loved. In everything we do we should know that Christ stands with us. In whoever we see suffering, we should see Christ in them, suffering too. The martyrs Peter and Paul show us what it is to give all for Christ. They give us courage to live as fully as we can our own faith.
