The Immaculate Heart of the BVM

2 Corinthians 5:14-21, Ps 103, Matthew 5:33-37

Mary has a heart which knows love and suffering. It seems that the two go together. Yet it is the way of all mothers, and all those who want to love, to have both of these things in their heart. Mary’s heart burns most of all for her Son. Are we able to share in Mary’s motherly love for her son ? Are we able to continue to love those around us despite the pain it can bring ?
