The Body and Blood of Christ.

Exodus 24:3-8, Ps 116B, Hebrews 9:11-15, Mark 14:12-16, 22-26.

In the Eucharist we do not have the Jesus of history, but have Christ with us here and now, truly, fully, completely. He gives to us the same graces and blessings as he gave to his disciples on earth. He heals, forgives, sanctifies and strengthens us. He redeems us through the giving of his Body and Blood, just as he did on Calvary. To encounter him at Mass is to know that he is still amongst us. Let us go to meet him. He is here.
