Repentance is now

Now is the time to return our hearts to the Lord. Now is the time to seek the tender compassion of our God. Lent is the ‘now’ of conversion. Lent is the ‘now’ to be reconciled to God. The Lord sees the heart. The hypocrite will not stand before the Lord. If our ashes are to be a true sign of our repentance we must forgive as we hope to be forgiven by the Lord. Lent is the time we ensure that love is one with faithfulness, and justice is wedded to peace
