Wisdom and fidelity

God’s creation is mired in evil and sin. Only Noah receives God’s favour. God will create a new world order in and through the fidelity of Noah. Like Noah, we are called to be faithful to God by embracing the wisdom of Christ. To embrace the wisdom of Christ is to reject the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod; to reject all that is self-serving and corrupt. By feeding the multitude from seven loaves, Jesus reveals his power to turn paucity into abundance; to nourish not only the body but also the mind and the heart.
