Desire to heal

Jesus not only has the power to heal, he desires to heal all who seek him out. He touches those considered untouchable even if, by doing so, he puts himself among those considered unclean. Here, indeed, is Good News for those willing to listen and follow. We are called to be helpful to everyone at all times. In this way, the Christ who desires to heal continues his work through us especially among the dispossessed and marginalized; those society tries to hide, forget, or erase.
