Beloved

“You are my beloved son …”. Our Lord’s public ministry began with his Father telling him how much he loved him. Jesus needed to hear that. How much more so do we? The basis of our Christian faith is the knowledge, the assurance, that each of us is a beloved son or daughter of God. God says the same thing to us as he said to his own Son “You are my beloved …”. Hear God telling you today that he loves you.
