We’ve no reason to be downcast. God has promised we’ll always have true leadership. He takes care of our needs. “Not a sparrow falls that my Father does not know of.” While it’s necessary to provide for our family’s needs, we should not be obsessed with money or belongings. Just live cheerfully in the Lord. Nuns often speak of detachment. They tell us how hard it is to move on from places, people and pets when they are shifted to new projects. So we need detachment from material things.
