Love God and love others

We are ‘servants of the real living God’. Our loving and serving God is evident in our loving service of God’s people. The Gospel reading today makes it clear: we are to love God and to love others as we love ourselves. The Exodus reading gives some guidance about loving others: no oppression or harshness; absolute fairness in dealing with others, especially the poor.
