God is everything

The Pharisees were right when they declared Jesus to be ‘an honest man, teaching the way of God in an honest way’. They flattered him in a malicious and vain attempt to trick him. We are not to play games as the Pharisees did. We are to show our ‘faith in action, work for love and persevere through hope’, living out of our conviction that apart from God ‘all is nothing’.
