Spiritual Warfare

The Lord Jesus engaged in spiritual warfare throughout his public ministry. Satan tempted him in the desert and Jesus overcame him. The Lord defeated Satan many times in the course of his public ministry when he drove demons from suffering people. He recognized his Passion as the Enemy’s last attempt to destroy him …“But this is your hour and the power of darkness.” Jesus stayed faithful to the Father and again Satan failed. We live out our lives in constant war with the world, the devil and the flesh. Let’s pray that we, like Jesus, will remain faithful to the Father’s will no matter what.
