Aiming for the heart

It was time for change. The old order had gone and a new covenant was coming. In Moses’ day God’s law was written on stone, now he was aiming for the heart. “I will be their God and they will be my people”. The new covenant would be radical and far reaching, culminating in the sacrifice of his Son, but then, God so loved the world….

Thank you Father that you were prepared to go to the extreme to draw us closer to you.
