Vocations

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few” Has there ever been more need for ‘labourers’ in Australasia? We now have two priests looking after three mass centers. Previously there were six. The religious have mostly gone from the schools and hospitals. The lack of vocations and the need to fix churches to building standards must be a headache for our bishops. Yet most of us are able to attend mass frequently. Isn’t that great? Shall we thank God for that and pray for vocations?
