Amos 9:11-15;Ps 85; Matthew 9:14-17

Forgiveness

God was angry with his people. They had not obeyed him. Yet he forgave them. Again they returned to their sinful ways. Hardships followed causing them to think that God was again angry. They asked for his help to make things better which he gave. Isn’t it remarkable that God is waiting to forgive us? We just have to say sorry. Have we hurt anyone? Is it time to “bury the hatchet”? Or is today a good time to catch up with an old friend or two?
