Acts 19:1-8 Ps. 68, John 16:29-33

I am not alone

The disciples see a simple sign of Christ’s divinity. He sees their unasked questions. My discipleship needs to acknowledge Christ’s divinity and his place in the Trinity. When the world seems hostile, and Catholic life seems to be divided and not strong the Holy Spirit comes to me to help me trust in God and to follow Jesus more nearly. I may feel alone at times, Jesus felt this too, but he was aware of his place and life in the Trinity. In my prayer and reflection do I acknowledge the living power of the Holy Spirit in me?
