Earthquakes and our changing church buildings

Most Dioceses throughout our country are dealing with the realities and costs of unsafe buildings. Perhaps St Francis of Assisi can help us. He responded to Christ’s call: “Francis, go repair my Church, which, as you see, is falling completely to ruin” - firstly by physically building stone upon stone and then by loving people one by one – building a community of living stones.

How can we be imaginative enough to become living stones building the church of the people of God.
