Ask to be healed

How desperate the official must have been to have sought Jesus out to beg for his help – but he was a parent and was afraid for his child’s life. The miracle of healing that followed is the same miracle Jesus offers us when we seek him out and ask for his help.

Loving Lord, I need your healing power, for I am a sinner. In your mercy save me from the sickness of sin. May the love of God and faith in his complete forgiveness lead us all to his heavenly kingdom.
