A clean heart?

Today Jesus further develops yesterday’s theme. He points out that it is what we think, say and do that matters, not what we take in. He goes on to give us a terrible list of evil intentions we can have. They are either sins in themselves or motivation from the heart that cause sinful actions. Elsewhere Jesus said the thought was as bad as the action. It is surely time for an honest self-examination.
