My words will never pass away

Extraordinary events give rise to extraordinary people and extraordinary hope. The sufferings of God’s People in Daniel’s time gave rise to the vision and promise of the ‘son of man’, on whom was conferred all sovereignty and whom all people were called to serve. Jesus, the eternal Word, took to himself that title ‘son of man’ that we might place our faith in his words and his mission of redeeming the world. He is the ever-new springtime in our personal and communal lives, and in the transformation of all creation. We live our lives in Him, the eternal Word which brings all creation to fulfillment.
