2 Timothy 4:1-17, Psalm 145, Luke 10:1-9

“The Lord stood by me and gave me strength.” (Timothy)

“The Lord is near to all who call upon him.” (Ps 145)

Both these lines from today’s Scripture are expressions of a life of faith. Sometimes we feel the closeness of God with us and sometimes we don’t. Remember a time when God gave you strength and seemed close. Join the psalmist and St. Paul in giving thanks for God’s presence in your life.
