Mary, our Queen, help us joyfully share the wedding invitation

Who doesn’t love weddings, especially those attended by the Queen? They are celebrations of love. Guests anticipate them for months, buying presents, choosing clothes, making plans. Baptism invites us to the heavenly wedding banquet clothing us in Christ. We can ignore our invitation, refusing the wedding garment of Christ’s love and mercy. Or we can joyfully anticipate the celebration of which we have a foretaste at every Mass. Then we are sent out from Mass as servants; taking the invitation out every day to everyone we meet. Mary, Queen of heaven and earth, help us joyfully share the wedding invitation.
