Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord

We’re captivated by light. Stunning sunsets are compelling and transcending. Here Jesus lets his glory shine. We are made for love. John was Jesus’ beloved, James, the first apostle to die for love of Christ and Peter makes a threefold love commitment. Jesus is the Word, the voice of love and they hear, “Listen to him”. Jesus transfigures our life when the light and beauty of self-giving love radiates in faith, penetrating our darkness with hope in the glory we are made and destined for. Ask God for his transfiguring power to shine with love on your life today.
