The trinity of marriage

In his explanation about marriage, Jesus points out that the union of a man and woman ‘made one flesh’ is blessed by God. The relationship is thus not just between the couple, but also with God. The couple is consecrated to God and live as a trinity, with God and each other.

Bless and strengthen all marriages with your grace, God. May they be fruitful in love and joy and lived in companionship with the Holy Spirit.
