The mission Christ gave the apostles when he breathed the life of the Holy Spirit into them, was to spread the news of his resurrection and of salvation to all people. This is a universal message which means the same today as it did 2,000 years ago.

Dear God, may our faith be strengthened and renewed by the Holy Spirit this Pentecost, so we can continue to find ways to do your will, spreading the good news of your love for us all.
