Be not Afraid

There is great comfort to be found in today’s Gospel, as Jesus tells us not to let “our hearts be troubled or afraid”. Even though he knew, when he said these words, that he would be leaving the world for the meantime, he left us with blessings of peace and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Let us offer all we do this day in thanks for this gift, as it is through the Holy Spirit we come to know and love God.
