Strong characters

The second arrest of the apostles shows their character. They were courageous, obedient to God, men of principle, and true witnesses. God calls us to have the same characteristics. Sometimes God’s call to us seems almost incredible, like his call to the apostles to go back into the temple, knowing they would be arrested again. Can we be as brave today as the apostles were then?

Lord, give me the courage to do as you ask.
