Psalm 118, Acts 10:34-43,Col 3:1-14 John 20:1-9

At the centre

It has been calculated that the eighth verse of Psalm 118 lies at the very centre of the Bible. Everything in Scripture that comes before this verse and everything that comes after it illumines the fact that it is better to take refuge in God than to trust in anyone else. More than a verse for memorising, this is a verse for living, day by day. On this Resurrection Sunday we celebrate and worship the living Jesus, the centre of the universe, the centre of our faith, the centre that holds everything in our lives together. Hallelujah!
