Our Father
The Our Father must be the best known prayer in Christendom. The problem is that we know it so well we can say it without thought, without really considering what we are saying. I know I am guilty of this at times, but today I am going to try and truly pray, thinking of the meaning of the words, and remembering this is the one prayer Jesus himself gave to us and it contains within it our praise and gratitude and our pleas for all we need both spiritual and temporal. Will you join me?
