A priest forever

Melchizedek was a ‘type’ or ‘figure’ of Christ, a foreshadowing of the one who was to come. Christ is a priest forever as Son of God. He is also Lord of the Sabbath. He makes it very clear that people’s genuine needs are more important than human-made rules and customs. He was saddened by how stubborn his listeners were; do we sadden him too?
