Isaiah 7:10-14, Ps 24, Luke 1:26-38

Yes

“…for our salvation he came down from heaven: and by the power of the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.” With these words the Church, in the Nicene Creed, regularly professes its faith and celebrates God becoming human through the Virgin Mary. We bow at Mass for those words to show our profound respect for the event. A key factor in it all was the fact that Mary said “yes” to God’s awesome call. God asks for my “yes” too so that his words may become known and loved in the world today.
