Signs of the times

The warning about the destruction of the beautiful Jerusalem temple prompts the question –“What sign?” or “what proof?“ The answer shows how important the gift of discernment is in distinguishing between bogus and authentic claims. False Christs have come and gone. Some are still with us. The horrendous catalogue of events from war and revolutions to earthquakes and plagues, will unsettle all but those firmly grounded in faith. Are you afraid of these warnings? Place yourself before God, and ask Him to direct your spirit and mind as you respond to them.
