Missed opportunities

Jesus shows his love for Jerusalem by offering its inhabitants protection and safety if they heed his warnings. But, like the children of Israel before them, they either could not, or would not, seek peace. So it is with us. He directs and warns us in a huge variety of ways – in word or song, through children and nature, by love and forgiveness He disciplines us because He loves us. Lord, open me to your messages today as I seek to serve you.
