A beggar’s riches

I love the human details of this account – especially the fickle crowds, scared of the Romans and Herodians, trying to silence the beggar, then switching to glorifying God after the miracle; the beggar’s unconditional faith in the Lord’s desire and ability to heal; the sensitivity and compassion of our Lord. Jesus announces the cure with a few words. What power Jesus has, to change attitudes, states, allegiances, bad habits, broken bodies and minds. What has Jesus healed in your life?
