Growing the seed

A seed contains all the genetic components it needs to grow into a large tree but it can only do so with a lot of outside help. Fertile soil. Water. Sunlight. Protection from the elements. God plants a seed within each of us for the part he wants us to play in the building of his Kingdom. We too need outside help for our seed to grow. Firstly, God’s help through regular prayer. We need the co-operation and help of others. We can achieve nothing on our own. The building of the kingdom is a joint enterprise.
