Childlike faith

In my faith journey I don’t find it easy to be like a little child. My intellect wants to understand whom, where and what God is. I seek St Paul’s “... face to face ...” rather than resign myself to the “... dimly as through a looking-glass”. Yet I know in my heart that, as Jesus says, my faith is a gift which I can only receive and sustain as a little child. Faith is “belief seeking understanding”. Yes, I shall continue to seek to understand, but in the manner of a little child.
