Living the Gospel

“The Spirit of the Lord has been given to me, for he has anointed me to be Good News to the poor, to proclaim liberty to captives and to the blind new sight.” This is Jesus’ mission statement. This text is being fulfilled now in 2012 as you read. Let the Spirit reveal the Good News in your daily life. I anoint another when I listen deeply. I bring Good News when I share veggies with a local family. I proclaim liberty when I speak out for the less confident. I bring new sight when I believe in another’s potential.
