The Sower

Jesus must have thought this parable specially important to his disciples, for he specifically says “You are to hear….”. We too are disciples, so we also need to hear.

How do I receive the word of God? Actually I think it varies. Sometimes I do not recognize or understand. Sometimes I think it is wonderful, but find it too difficult. Sometimes I am distracted by all manner of things and forget. Sometimes, by God’s grace, I hope I listen properly and may eventually produce some sort of a harvest.
