My burden is light

It doesn’t always feel light! When I look back on the last eighteen months of earthquakes, difficulties and uncertainties I sometimes wonder how I lived through it, even knowing many people had it much worse. Yet constantly, underlying all the turmoil, there has been that deep peace and the knowledge that I am loved and cared for, and for that I can never thank God enough. It is true for every person, but not everyone is able to recognize it. Let us pray for those who are suffering and do not know they are beloved and cared for.
