Speaking the truth

Prophets are annoying. They read the signs of the times. They reflect on what God asks. They see the gaps and respond.They then try and get the rest of us to move to bring about the reign of God.

Our nation has its fair share. Suzanne Aubert, Te Whiti o Rongomai, Archibald Baxter,Terry Dibble. Its safer to mention the dead. Today pray for a person who unsettles you. A person you judge as being too radical or different. Ask God to strengthen them in their vocation. It may be to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
