A Household Divided

Jesus uses logic to rebut the charge that he was possessed. If it was true, he was casting out devils, his own subjects. Thus a household divided cannot stand.

This outrageous charge by the Scribes is a sign that they were sinning against the Holy Spirit, i.e. resisting the known truth.

Lord, let me always be open to your truth, which will make me free.
