Becoming a Saint

Another example today of the Apostles’ human flaws. Asking Jesus to incinerate a whole village because it wouldn’t allow Jesus to enter it? Really and truly! But for me it’s good to be reminded that the Apostles were real flesh and blood men not stained-glass figures with halos around their heads. They had the same human failings we all have; and if they could be transformed into the great saints they became by following Jesus and being filled with the Holy Spirit, then so can we.
