Mary the mother of God

Today is a solemn feast day of the church. We celebrate Mary’s glorious assumption into heaven. Mary shows us the fulfillment of our Christian destiny which is to be with God and all the angels and saints forever.

Let us today take Mary as our model of the Way and let us renew our love for her as our mother too. Mary is the one who leads us to her Son.
