Exodus 2;1-15, Ps.69, Matt 11:20-24

She called him Moses

The story of Moses is full of luck, lies, fear, and violence. Yet he was being prepared by God to do a wonderful thing, to save the people of Israel no less.

A couple in a coastal town in NZ were both marijuana growers and users; he spent time in prison while she cared for their 4 children. The couple now employ troubled youth in their large garden and feed a whole town with their produce. Everything in their life prepared them for their present kaupapa(task). I withhold judgement in case this troublesome person may be a Moses in the making.
