False prophets

Yes, we do have them today - think of the so-called ‘moon man’ who prophesied another disastrous earthquake at the time of the March full moon. Large numbers of credulous people were scared and left town, an unnecessary additional stress for already burdened people; certainly not good fruit.

As Christians we have one sure guide. If we hold fast to Jesus and his teachings and look for the ‘good fruit’ of the Holy Spirit the false prophets will have no power to touch us.
